Pizzeria Spontini first saw the light in Milan in 1953 in a small shop that fed the Milanese during the economic boom of the post-war years. Today, Spontini continues to serve handmade, high-quality pizzas, using only the finest Italian ingredients, using a recipe that has been unchanged for 60 years. Soft, tasty and with few variations: Spontini pizza is slice pizza, prepared in iron pans and baked in wooden ovens. It is called the ‘pizza of Milan’ because it is like the style of the city: quick and easy, tasty and with a broad appeal. Today, there are more than 20 Spontini pizzerias in Italy and Japan.
