The Czech Republic is a landlocked country in Central Europe. The country shares borders with Poland, Germany, Austria and Slovakia. The capital and largest city is Prague, which has become a major tourist destination.

Poland, and its capital Warsaw, lie at the centre of a continent, and for centuries the country has been a bridge between Eastern and Western Europe. Poland is bordered by seven nations, including Germany, Russia and the Czech Republic, as well as the Baltic Sea.

Romania is a Southeastern European country known for the forested region of Transylvania, ringed by the Carpathian Mountains. The name "Romania" comes from the Latin word "Romanus" which means "citizen of the Roman Empire."

The largest country in the world, Russia covers an area equivalent to more than an eighth of the earth's inhabited land area, and is located in Northern Asia bordering the Arctic Ocean, between Europe and the North Pacific Ocean.

The Republic of Kazakhstan is situated largely in Central Asia, although a small part of the country lies west of the Ural River and is thus in Europe. The world's largest landlocked country, and the ninth-largest country in the world, Kazakhstan has borders with Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, and also adjoins a large part of the Caspian Sea.

The Republic of Azerbaijan is situated at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. It is bounded by the Caspian Sea to the east, Russia to the north, Georgia to the northwest, Armenia to the west and Iran to the south.

With a population of 76 million and an increasing consumer purchasing power, Turkey offers a large and dynamic domestic market to investors.

Located on Africa's north-western coastline, Morocco is separated from Europe by a gap of just 13 km at its narrowest point. This proximity to Spain, and its coastlines on both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean seas, has seen the country develop and flourish thanks to its strategic location for trade.

Tunisia, officially the Republic of Tunisia, is located in North Africa on the Mediterranean coast. It is bordered by Algeria to the west and Libya to the southeast. Its northernmost point, Cape Angela, is also the northernmost point on the African continent.

Lebanon is located on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a growing, vibrant country with a population of approximately 4.5 million, around half of whom are based in the capital city, Beirut.

Officially known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Jordan is an Arab nation on the east bank of the River Jordan. The country, which is a constitutional monarchy with a representative government, has a population of around 6.6 million.

The Kingdom of Bahrain is an island nation in the Arabian Gulf, situated between the east coast of Saudi Arabia and the Qatar peninsula. It is one of the six Gulf Cooperation Council nations. Bahrain, meaning ‘two seas’ in Arabic, is the largest island of the archipelago. It is one of the most densely populated countries in the Middle East, with 1.3 million inhabitants. The vast majority of the population lives and works in the capital, Manama.
